Camera Policy
To comply with international safety standards and ensure the safety of all participants, cameras are not permitted during adventure activities that require both hands to remain free at all times. This restriction includes compact digital cameras, DSLR and SLR cameras, disposable cameras, and mobile phones.
Exceptions:
GoPro® cameras and similar action cameras are permitted only when securely mounted to the participant's helmet using an approved head mount. Selfie sticks, chest mounts, handheld devices, wrist mounts, or any mounting method other than a helmet-mounted head strap are strictly prohibited during activities.
Transportation Policy
Our Reservations Department will contact you by phone call or WhatsApp message to confirm your pickup time and pickup location prior to your activity.
Transportation is shared and not private. Guests must be ready at the confirmed pickup location before the scheduled pickup time. Vehicles will wait a maximum of 5 minutes after the confirmed pickup time before continuing their route.
If your hotel, Airbnb, vacation rental, or accommodation is outside our transportation service area, our Reservations Department will assign the nearest available meeting point.
Transportation vehicles and seating have standard dimensions and specifications and are not specially adapted to accommodate specific accessibility needs.
Cancellation Policy
Guests are eligible for a 100% refund if the cancellation is made at least 72 hours before the scheduled activity. A 50% refund applies to cancellations made at least 48 hours before the activity. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled activity, or later, are non-refundable.
No Show: Guests must arrive at least 5 minutes before their confirmed pickup time. Transportation vehicles will wait a maximum of 5 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. Failure to appear within this waiting period will be considered a No Show and the reservation will be non-refundable.
Guests who miss their transportation due to a No Show may request to reschedule their activity, subject to availability, by paying a USD $15 transportation rescheduling fee.
Climate Guarantee
Activities may occasionally be postponed or canceled due to extreme weather or environmental conditions. If this occurs, your activity will be rescheduled for another available date. If rescheduling is not possible due to your travel itinerary, you will receive a full refund. Only Extreme Adventuring has the authority to determine whether weather or environmental conditions require the cancellation or postponement of an activity. Guests who choose to cancel due to weather conditions without an official cancellation by Extreme Adventuring will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
If an activity is canceled due to weather or environmental conditions, guests must contact either their travel agency or our Reservations Department to process the corresponding rescheduling or refund request.
The total transaction amount may be subject to taxes, foreign transaction fees, currency conversion charges, or other fees imposed by your bank or credit/debit card issuer. Your financial institution may convert the payment into your local currency, resulting in a difference between the amount displayed on our website and the final amount charged to your account. Please contact your bank or card issuer if you have questions regarding applicable fees or exchange rates. For bookings made in Brazil, the IOF (Tax on Financial Operations) is not included in the final booking price and will be charged separately to the credit or debit card used for the purchase.
